Thank you for your comment. It sure is a terrible thing for society to have to deal with but it's there no matter what. It's treated as if you really asked for it. Like you ask for cancer or MS.
I questioned them giving her that big dose of fentanyl and now it's become evident that was what was causing her sickness all along. Too big of a dose. Because she had not been on opioids before. I guess they assumed she was.
There is no help at that nursing home. One day a few weeks ago not one nurse was coming in for the night shift. Not one. I suppose they had to use an agency or pay one of their nurses double, which is only right. I'll be glad when she finds a rehab which she has to find on her own because the social worker there has 200 patients to help.
But, she does admit it is her problem. At least they are tapering her off because she had to fight to get that done.
