Thanks for this interview, Scot. I love Alabama. I spent a summer there once, and I loved it. I wanted to have a southern drawl so bad. I thought it was sexy. I bet Terry heard of the town I stayed in near Selma, Catherine. I went to U of A Birmingham to my first concert with my older cousin and saw Neil Diamond, amongst other notable acts from the late 60s. Everyone kept yelling ROLL TIDE and WAR EAGLE, and I had no idea why??? 😂 I learned in later years.

This was a great reminder of those days. I will check out his books for sure.
