That daughter is 49 and has lived on the streets after using drugs since she was 20. Her mind was messed up by my family treating her like she was perfect and overriding my authority when I tried to discipline her. In retrospect, I wish I had done many things differently (like moving away), but that's a waste of time. It is what it is now.
