That is a noble thing you do because those stories can be crushing. I never took it much into consideration but I do feel sadder for my brother over 50 years later.
Marines get the worst of it, don't they? My brother took a leadership role and he knew he would be sent over. He was like that. He was not going to do less than his comrades or he would have come home feeling badly for the rest of his life. It is great we have young people who will put their lives on the line for all of us. It was a stupid conflict and will go down in history as such. What I find hard to swallow is that Russia and China were fighting us indirectly and we let them? What's to stop them now?
