Great advice, especially for young couples. That may have been another problem with me and my husband besides communication issues. I made more money than him, and I worked part-time. He would give me cash from his paychecks, so I never really knew how much they were. We still did OK, but I found out some lies after several years, and then we didn't communicate over it, so when he started to drink, I ran even though I loved him. We fell apart over with no money and filing bankruptcy. It's scary how, after 29 years, you find a different side to your partner.
