That was really brave of you to uninvite your sister. Did other family members disagree with you? Are there still repercussions?

I know whatever I decide will have lasting consequences on this family. My neice and I are pretty close. We discussed my oldest daughter and inviting her. I told her it was her call but I did not want her to send the invitation to my house and make me responsible to get it to her. That was when she was MIA on the street. As for my son, I may have said I did not think they would come since the cost is high...at least $1,000 for hotel, etc...and they are saving a down payment to buy a house. I didn't tell her not to invite him. Was it my fault? Was that interpreted as not to invite them?

I still have not decided what to do. I am going to talk to him today and see what his reaction is.

I could just cry.

BTW this family has a way of alienting other family members. My brother in law has 2 brothers and neither came to the other nieces wedding for reasons of thier own and they are all estranged now.
