That was very unkind but I imagine she was uncomfortable. The middle seat, under any circumstances, is the worst unless you’re with a mate in one of the seats next to you. My brother and I were able to pay $150 to keep the seat between us empty on our flight to Kenya. I never had an airline offer that before but it was worth it on a 15 hour flight to have that seat empty. Kenya Airways is an affiliate of Delta Airlines.
