That would be horrible. I've read about your mom and understand why you don't see her. I rarely see my kids and don't even drink or smoke! I feel the same about my ex—the two addicts in my family. I had 27 good years with him. The girlfriend can have him now. I had the best of him; now she can have the rest of him :-)
