The men our age are damaged goods, too. I have been looking at the men I meet as if I married them 30-40 years ago when we were both younger. We both looked better then too. Suppose I was still with my husband, who looks dreadful. I would still love him because we remember when we were hot! We have memories together. Does that help? We can't expect perfect health, perfect bodies, and no baggage. I'm bringing my thinking around to being more realistic.
