The sad thing is so many young women and girls don't have a clue they are pregnant until it's too late. That may sound wild, but I was 18, had not had intercourse (but came close), and was sick as a dog going through all kinds of GI testing. My mom had a suspicion and took me to a gynecologist (not telling me she thought I was pregnant), and I almost died having an examination! The pain was excruciating! When he came back and told me I was pregnant, I nearly fainted. He told me how I could get pregnant without actual intercourse. He told my mom the story, too. They believed me. My father did not! I never thought I could be pregnant. At the time I was given the news, I was almost 4 months pregnant. I had very erratic periods. I was skinny, and absolutely nothing showed. I got married at 5 months pregnant, and no one would ever be able to tell. So, my point after all that is, if girls are not educated, they don't realize they are pregnant until almost giving birth sometimes too late for an abortion IMO.
