The thing back then was no social media to mess with your head. You met, fell in love, made a commitment, and moved on. Today there are too many choices and too many wolves in sheep's clothing. My mom died in 2020, too. 2 years ago today. I miss her but she wasn't my best friend but she was a good mom. I'm sorry you lost yours. We only get one mom for the most part and if she's a good one it's horrible to lose her.
