This blast from the past is a great comparison. Something tells me JJ had it much better than the Winns. It’s sad and useless to look back but that line from the song couldn’t be more true. I would trade a yesterday as well over many circumstances. The Winns had to convince themselves of a lot of positives because they were dealing with so many negatives. Also Ray is writing this after the fact and it may look a little more sunny when the storm had already passed.
