This is a sad statement. Christianity is such a plethora of opinions and interpretations it can't be condensed into one judgment by others. If people felt that the church let them down for the stated reasons, then it's the church they attend, not Christianity itself. These people remained Christians because it is a way of life to follow the actions of Jesús and try to be a good person, love others, and love God. From the data it looks like they did just that even after "leaving" Christianity. You can do that from anywhere and don't have to go to church at all. I appreciate people who are kind and do not have to pigeonhole themselves into a mold that the world judges as pro or con Christianity.
