This is pretty much a synopsis of my dating experience. The one guy I was attracted to tried to get in my pants from date one and I just had to admit that was all he really wanted and get rid of him. Otherwise....no fireworks with any other dates I've had. But, I keep expecting them to happen? Maybe I'm too old for that and my one and only fireworks show was 32 years ago when I met my husband.

Oh, and you do have to settle for a bit less than tall, dark, and handsome. I've dated some basketball bellies, definitely baldies, and shorter guys too. I do look in the mirror and realize I'm not perfect either. But even if you find a nice gentleman, if you aren't physically attracted? Then What? Settle? Hope he grows on you?
