This is prolific but also very hard to do. If the charity is approached as a conceit it will be a waste of time. If the charity is given as a "friend in need" it will be welcomed. Too many people want pats on the back for doing a kind deed. Nothing is more disgusting than seeing someone post on FB the good deed they did for some poor schmuuk on the street. They may as well say it that way because they did not do it out of care, concern, and respect for the needy, but to praise themselves. Humility is a great life lesson.
