This is very concerning, Colleen. I’ve noted that about 90% of the guys I met and went out with were like this, and I’m noticing it more and more with the guy I’m seeing now. I tell him how I feel, but it keeps happening. I can name his kids, grandkids, siblings, ex-wives, and all kinds of information about him. I quiz him a little, and he gets upset. I’m proving my point, and I guess he doesn’t like it.
I went out with a guy last July 4th and spent the whole day with him. He never even asked my last name or anything about me or my life. I got to hear all about his dates, kids, and ex-wives. It puts you in an irritated state. I found it the norm, and caring about myself and my life was not interesting. It’s a shame. I’m giving this guy a chance to change and ask me about me, but if it doesn’t happen, I’ll keep looking for the right man.
