This is way more information than I had known. Another Medium writer I communicate with is from Ashville. She told me she was safe, but I have not heard from her since. I pray she's still doing OK, but with no Wi-Fi or power, I guess she couldn't have emailed me anyway.

Are you back home by now? Safe and sound? Some may think Ohio is a drab little state, but we have nothing like those powerful hurricanes. We do have occasional tornadoes, but that's about it. The guy I have been dating has a whole closet storage of supplies in his basement if something happens around here, like a nuclear power plant leak. I thought it was over the top, but now I see it's an intelligent thing to have. The thought of eating anything out of a can that's been in his basement for 3 years beats starving. (Maybe!)
