This sounds like a success story and you sure deserve it. My ex and I divorced because I could not tolerate his drinking. He did terrible things, and this was after over 25 years of marriage. Things went bad in his business, he never told me, and started getting drunk.

Now, he has been sober 2 years. He is so dedicated to AA at times it annoys me. I'm serious. I see what you mean...his addiction is now recovery and I should be very happy about that. Sometimes it's overkill. That's all.

Call me jealous. I wanted that attention.
