Ugh... I would have sprayed five cans of Raid and left the house for an hour. That's how I used to rid my bedroom of mosquitoes before I went to bed as a kid. For some reason, bugs were in way more quantity when we were kids. I think the introduction of Round-Up to our farm did away with most all the pests. Good and bad ones.
