Until DUI #4 in December, we were working on "talking". The day he was arrested we were supposed to meet. But, after that arrest, he cut us all off. I knew then we would never be together again. He's ashamed, and embarrassed and said he needed to clean up the mess he's made of his life. Right now he's bitter with a couple of the kids so I know he is not getting much from his court-directed therapy and AA meetings. They did nothing. They are each walking their own walk and I just pray one day we will be able to unite. (without the ex)
