What a wonderful story! You went through a terrible experience. Congrats on the happiness you found. I have only ghosted a guy who won't leave me alone. Then I have to block them. Often, we ghost each other. We just don't ever get ahold of each other after the first date. Mutual ghosting :-)

And I am seeing a widower now. His wife has only been gone six months, but she had brain cancer, and I believe, as you say, he started to grieve long ago. I will tread lightly but he is a great guy and the first I've met in 7 years after my divorce, which almost killed me.
