What I have going for me is the fact my daughter was a little chubby and I know she didn't like it so why would she let her daughter get like that? I'll see her tomorrow but its my granddaughter's birthday, so I may not say too much.

I was ill-prepared for chubby daughters. I thought they would be just like me when I was younger. I was made fun of for being so skinny!

You sound like you're handling your daughters shape well. My daughter that is over 300lbs put on a 2 piece bathing suit when we went to Florida over thanksgiving. I did not say a word. She is usually mad at me for small reasons almost all the time. I think she blames me for her weight but she's 42! In high school she weighed 150 lbs and is 5'9".

Some days I just want to crawl under a rock I'm so tired of these family issues.
