When my friend said she knew she wouldn’t be at her sons wedding taking place in 2 months, I read a book. It was about how to talk to people who know they are dying. I sat with her and asked her to talk about what she thought about. She said seeing her parents and siblings in the next life would be cool. She said she wanted her chin hairs plucked before being shown in a casket. She actually seemed to appreciate being able to talk about it. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name of that book but there are several out there.
