For some reason, today, while driving and looking at roadkill, I started to think about humans. The whole concept of being gone is mind-boggling! Do we basically turn into roadkill when we die? Sounds like a good title for an article, but I'll take some heavy flak for it!! I will admit all the men I met over the last seven years didn't have much of a chance because my ex was always there in the background. I truly thought leaving him was going to be the catalyst to stop his drinking. We had a deep love and connection and a cool marriage until he became this "monster." Both of my marriages were great for a long time, then they weren't. I really loved my 2nd husband (the alcoholic) more than anything. I was never in love before and feel I may never be in love again. I know I don't want to be with him but my heart still aches. I have been seeing a wonderful guy for the last 2 months. I know good men are out there but they don't flock to me! How about you? Are you happily married?
