You are absolutely correct. My mom always taught me there are 2 sides to every story. The worst is when the other person is dead. One guy I went out with hated his wife that had died only 7 months before. I didn't stay with him long. I got really tired of hearing him criticize and run her down. She couldn't defend herself but I sure would have liked to hear her side of the story.
