You are fortunate and blessed by God Carole. You paid your dues but found reward at the end. Reading this I’m so happy for you. When my first husband pushed me around and kicked my front door in my father asked me what I did to make him mad. That’s the support I got back in the 70’s. It sounds like your family was a bit more supportive. And I’m glad your daughter and you have made peace.
