You are so kind! I couldn't love my daughter as best I could because I was still trying to grow up. She is doing well now and we talk a lot about it. She says she never felt unloved by me at all, but she felt her dad hated her. He was pretty crappy to her. All my daughters have "daddy" issues. He was just a half and half dad but very popular with everyone (including my family) so that made him seem cool to them.
