You have a good point John. I would never pay it all first time out. Often I offer to leave a tip but love it when men tell me no way! One guy said we could take turns and I laughed until I came back from the ladies room to find the check in front of my seat and him slipping off to the restroom himself! I guess so he couldn’t see my surprise! He had invited himself to meet me at the club I was going out to with my friends so I think he should have paid. That’s the first time I paid it all and he ended up to be an idiot. Already had a 2 year relationship with another woman but looked on Match to “see what was out there”. Saw me. Contacted me. We went out several times before he told me about her. What a jerk!

One time With a new date I insisted on splitting the bill because I ordered lobster and we got an appetizer, drinks, and dessert and just had a great time. The check was over $250 and I still really like that guy. Fair is fair after all!
