Your son is lucky you guys take such an interest in what makes him tick. It’s easy to fall into that trap of “the norm”. I wish I had read all your stories on autism 20 years ago instead of trying to mold my son into a regular teenage boy. He wasn’t and it embarrassed me at times. Back then even counseling didn’t help.
