Skiddy. Don't feel "Jobby" at all. I know my daughter had many connection issues, especially with her father.

When she was very young my mother wanted to be her mother. She showered her with gifts and attention. My daughter then got stuck with me when my mom had other grandchildren to fawn over. It was hard and not normal or fair to either of us. I wrote an article about her birth to about age 6. I want to write more when I can. Here you can get an idea of where the disconnect came from:
